For players who are interested in playing the World Series of Poker Main Event but just can’t afford the $10,000 buy-in, you can always try your luck at the WSOP freerolls offered at various online poker sites. Usually around the 1st part of the year, online poker sites will start offering satellite games to the WSOP. Some games may event be free to enter, or have a raked hand requirement or even entry by redeeming frequent player points.

While there is generally a limited amount of WSOP freerolls, and the number of participants can sometimes be staggering, there will always be a winner, and why couldn’t that winner be you?

WSOP freerolls are played just like a regular freeroll game where there is no monetary fee to enter and top players win cash prizes or in this case cash prize packages.

Many times WSOP freerolls can be played by cashing in frequent player points or by winning another tournament where a certain number of players share the prize pool and then each player in turn receives a ‘coupon’ to play in one of the WSOP freerolls.
