Omaha Poker has a few variations and is played in much the same way as Texas Hold'em. The major difference between the two games is that in Omaha Poker, players are dealt four hole cards instead of two.
The most common variety of Omaha Poker is the standard Limit and No Limit games. Just as in Limit Hold'em, during betting rounds of Limit Omaha you are limited to the size bet you can make by the tables set limits. Whereas, in No Limit Omaha, you can bet all of your chips at once.
Like Hold'em, there are two forced or blind bets placed before any cards are dealt. All players are then dealt four cards faced down which only they can use. Betting starts just like Hold'em, clockwise starting from the immediate left of the player who has made the big blind bet.
Three community cards, called the flop and then dealt for all players to use. A round of betting starts. After that round of betting the 4th community called, commonly refered to as the Turn card is dealt and once again a round of betting takes place. After that round of betting the final community card, the River card, is dealt and one final round of betting starts.
In order to make a hand in Omaha Poker, players must use two and only two of their hole cards and are thus forced to use only three of the five community cards. The best hand is declared the winner and that players claims all money in the pot.
