The FullTilt Online Poker Series, otherwise known around the Net as the FTOPS, is one of the biggest online tournament series available. It has grown immensely since its first debut back in 2006. The first eight-event match included almost 8,000 players and awarded more than $1 mil, while the FTOPS X, spanned 25 events and paid out $15+ million in cash prizes in August 2008 with more than 40,000 players. The FTOPS X series, which began in November 2008, was another 25-event season with another guaranteed prize pool of more than $15 million.
