Besides being my all time favorite poker players, Annie Duke is possibly the best known female poker player today. She is the sister of Howard Lederer. Annie grew up in New Hampshire and attended Columbia University. Annie also has a PhD in psychology that she says helps her understand the game and the players better.
Annie is a mother of four children and wife to Ben Duke. She has tutored the likes of actor Ben Affleck, who won the 2004 California State Poker Championship, as well as Matt Damon.
Annie is the leading WSOP female money winner and has more money finishes in the WSOP than any other woman.
